The client of this project was my friend Dmitry. He decided to rebuild the bathhouse on his property that he inherited from his grandfather, using modern materials, design methods, and construction technologies.
During the design process, we slightly moved the vestibule outside the main building volume, which added more space to the living room area. We also utilized the ceilings above the utility rooms, creating an additional sleeping space and a large storage area.
The architectural appearance of the facade follows the style of the classic Scandinavian school. This bathhouse can be used both for its traditional purpose and as a fully functional guest house, suitable for year-round living for a family of three.
