Lapua 125 Project – Based on the Laitila 90 design, this project comes in two versions:
Option 1 – floor-to-ceiling windows
Option 1 features floor-to-ceiling windows and an open foyer without partitions, inspired by Scandinavian space-planning principles, where most room doors open toward the living area.
Option 2 has smaller, more restrained windows and a more private layout typical of post-Soviet countries. By adding a partition between the living room and foyer, unwanted noise from the kitchen and living area is reduced, improving sleep comfort. This version may be more suitable for families with small children or elderly parents.
The facade design combines the classic Scandinavian multi-pitch roof with modern decorative elements, such as panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, contrasting plaster, and plank cladding. In the living room, a rafter-style ceiling adds volume and airiness to the central space.
The main differences from the Laitila 90 project are the inclusion of a sauna, relaxation room, full wardrobe, and guest bathroom — subtle features that significantly enhance countryside living comfort.
This project can also be designed with a flat or even usable roof.
