The design of this compact 90 m² house includes a number of fairly typical solutions, but as we know, classics never go out of style.
The Laitila 90 project is designed for construction using 400 mm aerated concrete masonry and is intended for a family of 3–4 people who want the comfort of an apartment while living in a country house. Despite its modest size, the home includes everything needed for comfortable living: three bedrooms, a spacious kitchen–living room, a bathroom, a large entrance vestibule with a wardrobe, a boiler room, and an impressive covered deck with a transparent roof. The deck allows you to enjoy sunbathing, savor a juicy steak, or drink tea, wine, or your beverage of choice while listening to the calming sound of summer rain above.
The boiler room near the entrance is designed so that it can be transformed into a full wardrobe area if gas heating is not expected in the near future. Alternatively, it can be converted into a small guest bathroom, with space for engineering equipment and even a laundry area with storage and ironing space — something many homeowners dream of.
This project can also be implemented with a dual-pitch roof with different slopes, similar to the Lapua 125 project.
