BRAMPTON 132

The Brampton 132 project was developed based on a Finnish house design that the client found online. But we wouldn’t be ourselves if we didn’t introduce numerous changes and optimizations to match the future homeowner’s wishes. Here, literally every room is tailored and “programmed” for the lifestyle of a specific family living in the countryside.

As the main architectural element, we used a two-slope, multi-level roof from the Lapua 125 project, which resulted in an interesting and memorable facade with a modern appearance.

The client, like us, loves plenty of natural light, so the project includes large window openings. Practical aspects of living in nature were also carefully considered. It was important to include a separate laundry room and the queen of all comforts — a real sauna with an electric heater.

The spacious living room includes a place for a fireplace, which will surely gather the family together during cold winter evenings. For summer gatherings outdoors, there is a covered deck.

In addition to aesthetics, special attention in this project was given to the orientation of the rooms according to the cardinal directions. Almost classically, the windows of all utility and technical rooms face north, while the bedroom windows face east and west. The living room windows face southwest, allowing residents to enjoy the sunset rays filtering through the treetops.
